Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about working with Ghosxt? Here are answers to the most common questions we receive from potential clients.
Yes. While we're based in Salinas and available for on-site work in California, most of our support is delivered remotely. We've structured our services for efficient remote management, which keeps costs down while maintaining responsiveness. We work with clients throughout the United States.
Any California business that needs reliable IT and cybersecurity but doesn't have (or want to hire) a full internal IT department. Tiny teams of 1–4 fit our Tiny Team Managed Security plan; teams of 5+ use per-user pricing on Core, Secure Growth, or Compliance & Continuity. We've worked with shops as small as 3 and as large as 60+.
No. While we recommend at least 3-6 months to properly architect and stabilize your infrastructure, we don't lock clients into multi-year contracts. Good service should earn your continued business, not a contract.
For new managed service clients, we typically need 2-4 weeks to properly onboard: audit existing systems, document everything, implement monitoring, and establish baseline operations. For urgent project work, we can often start sooner.
We're happy to discuss project work (network redesign, cloud migration, etc.) separate from ongoing managed services. Some projects lead to managed service relationships, others don't—we're comfortable with both.
Critical system failures get immediate attention. Our monitoring systems alert us 24/7 to critical issues. For planned after-hours work (infrastructure upgrades, migrations), we schedule in advance to minimize business disruption.
