About Ghosxt
Ghosxt brings enterprise-level IT infrastructure and security expertise to small and medium-sized businesses. We started because we kept seeing the same problem: businesses either get commodity support that falls apart under pressure, or they can't access the level of expertise they actually need.
We bridge that gap. Ghosxt is built around a single engineer with DoD infrastructure experience who has managed IT for everything from large-scale organizations to small local businesses, applying that same rigor to every client, without the enterprise consulting fees.
Comprehensive IT Management
Whether it's detecting threats in real-time, preventing breaches before they happen, or automating your security operations, Ghosxt makes every interaction safer and every team more secure.
Enterprise Experience
Our approach is shaped by years of working with large-scale IT infrastructure:
- Enterprise OS deployments and migrations across secure environments
- Advanced Active Directory architecture and Group Policy management
- PowerShell automation for complex system deployments
- Network infrastructure for multi-site organizations
- Security compliance frameworks and implementation
- Managing diverse client needs across multiple industries
This experience directly benefits Ghosxt clients. The same practices that work for large organizations (proper documentation, security-first design, thorough testing, systematic problem-solving) work just as well for small businesses. They just need to be adapted appropriately.
Small Business Focus
We've also managed IT for small businesses, which taught us how to:
- Design infrastructure that scales efficiently without over-engineering
- Balance cost constraints with proper IT architecture
- Solve problems across every major business system and vendor
- Communicate clearly without technical jargon
- Provide strategic guidance, not just technical support
This combination (enterprise expertise plus small business experience) means we understand both what good IT looks like AND how to deliver it cost-effectively.
Professional Certifications
These certifications represent comprehensive knowledge across IT infrastructure, security, cloud services, and IT service management. More importantly, we use this knowledge in every client engagement to design secure, efficient systems.

What Makes Our Approach Different
Direct Communication
We explain what's happening with your systems in plain English. If something breaks, we tell you what broke, why it broke, and what we're doing to fix it permanently, not just patch it temporarily. No runaround, no jargon, no excuses.
Enterprise Architecture for Small Business
The infrastructure practices that work for large organizations (proper Active Directory design, network segmentation, security hardening, systematic monitoring) work just as well for small businesses. You get enterprise-quality infrastructure without paying for a 20-person IT department.
Proactive, Not Reactive
Custom monitoring systems catch issues before they impact your business. Rather than waiting for systems to break, we identify patterns and fix problems during maintenance windows, not during your busiest workday.
Complete Documentation
We document everything about your infrastructure. Network topology, configurations, passwords, procedures: all organized and accessible. You're never locked in or left guessing if something happens to us.
Transparent Pricing
You always know what you're paying and why. No surprise bills, no nickel-and-diming for every small request, no hidden fees. Managed services are predictable monthly costs, and project work is quoted upfront.
Why "Ghosxt"
The Concept
We wanted a name that reflected the behind-the-scenes nature of good IT infrastructure. When IT is working properly, you shouldn't have to think about it: it just works. The ghost represents that: quietly effective, always present, protecting your business, but never intrusive. Plus, it's memorable. And being memorable matters when you're building long-term relationships with clients.
About Ulises
Ulises Paiz built Ghosxt on a simple idea: the businesses in his community deserve the same level of protection that the Department of Defense demands. With an M.S. in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance (WGU, 2026), prior DoD and federal contractor infrastructure experience, and nine industry certifications including CompTIA SecurityX, CySA+, and Microsoft AZ-104, he brings federal-grade discipline to every environment he touches.
Stop Reacting, Start Preventing
We're the ghost in your machine: invisible to threats, visible to solutions. Ghosxt monitors your systems around the clock, eliminating risks before they materialize.
